At this time of year, with numerous workers returning to work post the summer holiday break, Melbourne Workplace Physiotherapist Paul Romanin sees numerous cases presenting with task related injury concerns.
Melbourne Workplace Physiotherapy provides onsite task assessment and education of employees to help prevent injury in the workplace
At the start of each year, many organizations reinforce the education of specific manual tasks to ensure employees “quickly tune back-in” to the workplace environment.
Melbourne Workplace Physio Paul Romanin says that many manual task related injuries are often due to poor technique of employees.
“As an example, when moving boxes along trolleys, typically adopting a lunge position is the best approach to prevent injury, using your body weight to push and allowing your legs and body to do the pushing. We show your employees how to do it right”, said Paul.
“But every workplace is unique. Our expertise is assessing specific tasks & needs in your unique workplace to then ensure the health and safety of your employees”, added Paul.
